I graduated from St. Clement's School and Coronado High School in El Paso, TX. I did my undergraduate at Trinity University in San Antonio and my medical school at the University of Texas in San Antonio.

My general surgery training was at Mercer University in Georgia. I finished two years of Plastic Surgery training at Temple University in Philadelphia and afterwards a fellowship at Miami University in Florida (front runner in cosmetic surgery).

I am the only female, in El Paso, TX, with a background in general surgery and training as a cosmetic surgeon.

I am certain, as a female trained professional, that communication between me and my female patients will be easy, and that will allow me to understand their cosmetic needs and expectations. I'll do my best to understand and discuss all your pre and post-op questions.

After having completed my general surgery and then my plastic surgery residency in 1977, I began my private practice in El Paso, TX.

During these last 29 years I have gained vast experience and knowledge in performing cosmetic procedures including but not limited to: Facial Cosmetic Surgery, Rhinoplasty (nasal surgery), the injection of fat and other materials to reduce wrinkles, Abdominoplasty, Liposuction, and Breast Augmentation, Reduction, and Reconstruction.

Other non-cosmetic procedures in which I also have received extensive education, training and experience are: The removal of skin tumors, the treatment of burns, and the field of Hand Surgery.
